DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
Supervisor Thomson requests that the Board of Supervisors approve the appointment of Dave Marianno to serve on the Montezuma Fire Protection District Commission, representing District 5, for a four year term to expire March 1, 2021.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Mr. Marianno is a long-time Solano County resident, rancher, and mechanic who has served Solano County for over 40 years. Mr. Marianno has sat on numerous boards working as an elected official as well as a volunteer; these boards include the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District, Solano Land Trust, Solano History and Exploration Center, Travis Air Force Base Restoration Board, as well as many other local boards. His commitment to serve Solano County residents and his familiarity with working on various committees to accomplish the missions and goals of these organizations will greatly assist the Montezuma Fire Protection District.
