DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The Department of Information Technology recommends that the Board:
1. Approve a $73,674 revenue contract with the Superior Court of California, County of Solano, for the Department of Information Technology to provide information technology services from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018;
2. Authorize the County Administrator to execute the contract; and
3. Authorize the Chief Information Officer to execute any necessary contract amendments concerning terms and scope of services within the guidelines of the County's contracting policies.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) will be providing the following information technology services to the Solano County Superior Court (Court):
* Application support services
* Data Center operations support and backup services
* Data Communications services
* Database Administration
The contract price for these services is based on historical workload trends in the Court's use of the County IT infrastructure services. The $73,674 charge for services is a fixed price and will compensate DoIT for the services delineated in the contract scope of work. If the workload hours are exceeded, the Superior Court will be required to pay additional fees as may be negotiated through a formal change-order.
