DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
Supervisor Hannigan requests the Board of Supervisors approve the reappointment of Sal Macasieb to the In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Board representing District 1 for a four-year team to expire on January 9, 2028.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Mr. Macaiseb’s term on the In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Board representing District 1 began in 2014. His expertise in this area and on this board continues to be an asset to the community.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The costs associated with preparing the agenda item are nominal and absorbed by the department’s FY2023/24 Working Budget. The costs associated with the preparation and purchase of the resolution materials are included in the Board’s FY2023/24 Working Budget.
ALTERNATIVES:
The Board of Supervisors could choose not to approve the appointment, however, that is not the recommendation as Mr. Macasieb is well qualified for the position.
