DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The Office of the County Counsel recommends the Board of Supervisors acknowledge the selection of Elisabeth Brazelton for “Employee of the Month” for March 2024.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On September 13, 2005, the Board of Supervisors established the County Government Center "Employee of the Month Parking" program for County employees. Each month a County department is designated to select one of its employees as "Employee of the Month." County Counsel’s Office has been designated to select an employee for March 2024 and selected Elisabeth Brazelton the employee of the month.
Elisabeth joined the County Counsel’s Office in February 2023 and is recognized for her outstanding job proficiency and skills to accomplish complex and fast paced job requirements. She leads by example with her professionalism and proficiency, which contributes to the positive office environment. Elisabeth displays an exceptional work ethic and dedication to her position, the Office, and to Solano County. She is highly organized and multitasks efficiently to meet the varying duties and functions of her position.
Elisabeth’s collaborative and friendly personality contributes to a positive work environment, both internally and externally, making her an ideal candidate for employee of the month.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this selection.
ALTERNATIVES:
The Board of Supervisors could elect to acknowledge someone else as the Employee of the Month; however, this alternative is not recommended as Elisabeth is deserving of the Office’s recognition.
