Receive a presentation by Travis AFB regarding the Local Air Traffic Control Plan

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that ALUC direct staff to initiate minor amendments to the Travis AFB and Rio Vista Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (LUCP).
DISCUSSION:
Travis AFB representatives will be presenting information to the Solano Airport Land Use Commission about Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) restrictions on minimum safe altitudes or clearance over congested or non-congested areas (FAR 91.119). This new information may conflict with the allowable land uses and height requirements in the TAFB LUCP and Rio Vista Airport LUCP. Upon conclusion of the presentation, ALUC may recommend that staff initiate minor amendments to the Travis AFB and Rio Vista Airport Land Use Compatibility Plans.
