DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board receive a presentation by the County Administrator on the selection of Jamielynne Harrison as the April 2024 "Employee of the Month" making Jamielynne eligible to use the parking space designated for this program.
SUMMARY / DISCUSSION:
On September 13, 2005, the Board of Supervisors established the County Government Center "Employee of the Month Parking" program for County employees. Each month a County department is designated to select one of its employees as "Employee of the Month". The County Administrator's Office has selected Jamielynne Harrison as the deserving employee allowing her to park in the designated parking area for the month of April 2024.
Jamielynne joined Solano County in October of 2001. In service to the County, Jamielynne has been a valuable member of the Superior Court, Public Defender's Office, Resource Management Department and most recently the County Administrator's Office. In addition, during this period Jamielynne also worked with the U.S. Attorney's office as Senior Legal Assistant. Jamielynne, is recognized as a valuable member of the office, providing outstanding service as the Administrative Secretary to the CAO. In her role she works directly with the Board of Supervisors, County Administration and Department teams, along with many other appointed and elected officials throughout the County. Jamielynne displays an exceptional work ethic and dedication to her position, the Office, and to Solano County.
