DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The County Counsel’s Office recommends the Board of Supervisors acknowledge the selection of Youtso Tenzin as the March 2026 "Employee of the Month" making her eligible to use the parking space designated for this program.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On September 13, 2005, the Board of Supervisors established the County Government Center “Employee of the Month Parking” program to recognize outstanding County employees for their exemplary service. Under this program, one County department is designated each month to select an employee whose performance, professionalism, and commitment reflect the values and standards of Solano County. March 2026 has been assigned to the County Counsel’s Office for this recognition.
The County Counsel’s Office has selected Legal Secretary Youtso Tenzin as its March 2026 “Employee of the Month.” Youtso joined the County Counsel’s Office in April 2019 and has consistently demonstrated exceptional job proficiency, reliability, and professionalism in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Her ability to manage complex and time-sensitive responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency has made her an invaluable member of the office.
Youtso is widely recognized for her strong organizational skills and her ability to effectively multitask while supporting multiple functions and priorities. She approaches her work with a high level of dedication and attention to detail, ensuring that assignments are completed thoroughly and on time. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence contribute significantly to the efficient operation of the County Counsel’s Office.
In addition to her technical skills, Youtso leads by example through her professionalism, collaborative spirit, and positive attitude. She consistently fosters a supportive and respectful work environment and maintains positive working relationships both within the office and with external partners. Her friendly and approachable demeanor enhances teamwork and reflects positively on the County Counsel’s Office and Solano County as a whole.
For these reasons, the County Counsel’s Office is pleased to recognize Youtso Tenzin as the March 2026 “Employee of the Month” and recommends that the Board of Supervisors acknowledge her selection, making her eligible to use the parking space designated for this program.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this selection.
ALTERNATIVES:
The Board of Supervisors could elect to acknowledge someone else as the Employee of the Month; however, this alternative is not recommended as Youtso is deserving of the Office’s recognition.
