DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
Supervisor John M. Vasquez requests that the Board of Supervisors approve the reappointment of Richard Lundin to serve on the Area Agency on Aging Serving Napa and Solano, representing District 4, for a two year term to expire June 30, 2019.
SUMMARY:
Brevet Brigadier General Richard Lundin is a veteran and Solano County resident. He has served as the District 4 appointment to the Area Agency on Agency Aging Serving Napa and Solano since accepting and finishing out an unexpired term in 2014. He has also served as a member of the California Commission on Aging.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this reappointment.
ALTERNATIVES:
The Board of Supervisors could choose not to approve this reappointment. However, that is not recommended as this is an opportunity for Mr. Lundin to continue his advocacy on behalf of older adults and veterans with the Area Agency on Aging Serving Napa and Solano.
