DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
Supervisor Jim Spering requests that the Board approve the reappointment of Jenalee Dawson to the Solano Partnership Against Violence, representing District 3, for a term to expire on December 31, 2021.
SUMMARY:
Jenalee Dawson has served on the Solano Partnership Against Violence since 2015 and has been a valued member who understands the importance of the Commission and its role as a forum for interagency cooperation and coordination in the prevention, detection, treatment, and legal processing of family violence cases and to facilitate better integration of family violence prevention services within Solano County. She also serves as a member of the Solano Senior Coalition.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The costs associated with preparing the agenda item are nominal and absorbed by the District 3 FY2018/19 Adopted Budget.
ALTERNATIVES:
The Board could decide not to appoint Ms. Dawson. This is not recommended as Ms. Dawson is well qualified for this position.
