DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:

 

Supervisor Vasquez requests that the Board adopt resolutions recognizing Boy Scouts of America Troop 180 members Ryan Campbell, Travis Getty, Cameron Gregson, Christopher Howley, Collin Pihl and Vincent Walsh for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest award a member of the Boy Scouts of America can receive and represents many years of hard work and dedication. To become an Eagle Scout, one has demonstrated leadership, citizenship and responsibility. Troop 180 members Ryan Campbell, Travis Getty, Cameron Gregson, Christopher Howley, Collin Pihl and Vincent Walsh have participated in Scouting together since kindergarten and will participate in their Eagle Court of Honor together.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

 

There is no fiscal impact associated with this resolution.

 

ALTERNATIVES:

 

The Board could choose not to adopt this resolution. This is not recommended because this is an opportunity to recognize the many years of hard work and dedication put forth by Troop 180 members Ryan Campbell, Travis Getty, Cameron Gregson, Christopher Howley, Collin Pihl and Vincent Walsh in earning their Eagle Scout rank.
