DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The County Administrator recommends that the Board of Supervisors adopt and present a resolution and plaque of apprecition honoring Supervisor Erin Hannigan, upon her retirement from Solano County, with 12 years of distinguished service on the Solano County Board of Supervisors, and for her 17 years of dedicated public service to our community (Chairman Mashburn)
SUMMARY:
Supervisor Erin Hannigan will be retiring on Monday, January 6, 2025 from the Solano County Board of Supervisors after 12 years of distinguished public service in County Government, serving as the District 1 Supervisor since January 7, 2013. As the District 1 Supervisor, Supervisor Hannigan's district includes citizens residing within the central and northern sections of the City of Vallejo. Supervisor Hannigan worked diligently to connect the services of the County to the community, including, and not limited to issues related to public safety, seniors, children, childcare, veteran's services, homelessness, human trafficking, health care, mental health services and the environment. Supervisor Hannigan will be remembered as an individual dedicated to public service, positively impacting thousands of families and helping to make Solano County an even better place to live, learn, work and play.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The costs associated with preparing the agenda item is nominal and absorbed by the department's FY2024/25 Working Budget. The costs associated with preparation and purchase of the resolution materials and plaque are included in the Board's FY2024/25...
