DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The Department of General Services recommends that the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve two 3-year security systems maintenance agreements with Honeywell Building Solutions of Sacramento for the period September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2029, one in the amount of $145,846 for the County Administration Center (CAC) campus in Fairfield and another in the amount of $145,734 for Health and Social Services campuses in Fairfield, Vacaville, and Vallejo; and
2. Authorize the County Administrator or designee to execute the agreements and any amendments, with County Counsel concurrence, within the approved budget.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Department of General Services recommends approval of two security systems maintenance agreements with Honeywell Building Solutions utilizing the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) cooperative purchasing program, an authorized procurement method under County's Purchasing Policy. The agreements will provide maintenance and technical support services for security systems located at the CAC campus (Attachments A) and Health and Social Services (H&SS) campuses in Fairfield, Vacaville, and Vallejo (Attachment B).
