DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The County Administrator's Office recommends the Board of Supervisors approve a contract with Contra Costa Family Justice Alliance (CCFJA) with a not to exceed amount of $3,000,000 to administer and lead the Family Justice Center - Solano for the term of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030; and delegate authority to the County Administrator to execute the contract and any subsequent amendments, with County Counsel concurrence, up to an annual aggregate of $74,999.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Contra Costa Family Justice Alliance (CCFJA) is an experienced family justice center non-profit organization providing comprehensive services and programs to support healing for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking, providing services and leadership to the Family Justice Center (FJC).
CCFJA has been the lead operator of the FJC - Solano since January 1, 2023. Since that time, they have efficiently and effectively run the FJC - Solano. The annual cost proposed by CCFJA to run the FJC - Solano has been reduced each year and they not only met but exceeded the desired activities and outcomes set forth for them in their previous contract. As they have unique and specialized experience in providing these services the County Administrator's Office is seeking a sole source contract with CCFJA for continued administration and leadership of the Family Justice Center - Solano.
