DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The Department of General Services recommends that the Board of Supervisors adopt and present a resolution and plaque of appreciation honoring Megan M. Greve, Director of General Service, upon her retirement from the Department of General Services with 19 years of dedicated public service, including seven years with Solano County.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Megan M. Greve began her distinguished public service career in 2006 as a Management Analyst-Project Manager with the City of Lathrop. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing budgets, personnel, contracts, and special projects for the Community Development Department.
In 2010, Megan joined the Sutter County Administrator's Office as a Senior Analyst, where she played a critical role in budget development and fiscal oversight, while also serving as liaison between departments, the Board of Supervisors, and the County Administrator. Her strong leadership and strategic vision led to her appointment as Deputy County Administrator in 2012, followed by her promotion to General Services Director in 2013.
Prior to joining Solano County, Megan served as Director of Finance for the Women in Project Management Special Interest Group. She is recognized as a Fellow of the California State Association of Counties, a Mentor, and holds a Credentialed California County Senior Executive designation. Additionally, she serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the California General Services Administration.
