DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors receive a presentation by the Department of Child Support Services on the selection of Jamie Burnett as the January 2026 "Employee of the Month" for the County Administration Center Parking Program making her eligible to use the parking space designated for this program.
SUMMARY / DISCUSSION:
On September 13, 2005, the Board of Supervisors established the County Government Center "Employee of the Month" Parking Program for County employees. The Solano County Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) has been designated to select an employee for January 2026 and has selected Jamie Burnett, Child Support Specialist.
DCSS would like to honor and recognize Jamie Burnett as our Employee of the Month. Jamie is an intelligent, self-driven, and exceptionally kind professional whose efficiency and dedication have strengthened our department and the services we provide to the community. Jamie joined DCSS on September 9, 2018 as a Child Support Specialist. Since then, Jamie has approached challenges with remarkable focus and is able to manage multiple responsibilities with consistency that reflects both her discipline and her strong commitment to excellence.
Jamie routinely delivers high-quality work. Despite the demanding workload, she ensures each customer receives thoughtful, individualized attention. She is also a dependable team member, stepping in without hesitation whenever colleagues are out on vacation or extended leave.
