DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The Director of Human Resources recommends that the Board of Supervisors adopt a resolution and plaque of appreciation honoring Rebecca Iacobucci, Senior Human Resources Analyst, upon her retirement from the Human Resources Department with 36 years of public service including 16 years of dedicated public service to Solano County.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Rebecca Iacobucci began her career with Solano County as a Senior Human Resources Analyst with the Department of Human Resources on February 1, 2010 having served over 20 years in prior public service. She began her career with the City of Redondo Beach in 1980, where she served as a Personnel Officer. In 1984, she became the Personnel Director for the City of Brea, where she served for six years before moving to the City of Irvine as its Manager of Human Resources. After leaving the City of Irvine in 1992, she returned to public service in 2001 as a Senior Personnel Management Consultant with the CPS HR Consulting Joint Powers Authority until joining Solano County in 2010.
Throughout her more than 16 years with Solano County, Ms. Iacobucci has made an enduring and meaningful impact through her work as a Senior Human Resources Analyst. She brought exceptional expertise across the full breadth of Human Resources functions, including executive-level and high-volume recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, and employee relations.
