DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:

The Registrar of Voters (ROV) recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve the consolidation of elections for cities and special districts in the Statewide General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

DISCUSSION/SUMMARY:

Twenty-one districts have requested approval for the ROV to conduct the elections for their associated district board members and local measures, and that their elections be consolidated with the General Election on November 3, 2026. The requests for the ROV to conduct their elections are provided in Attachment A.

The ROV has coordinated with the districts and assigned the following measure letters:

? Measure B - Winters Joint Unified School District - Bond Measure
? Measure E - Solano County - Business Use Tax
? Measure H - Solano County - Transient Occupancy Tax
? Measure O - City of Rio Vista - Extending General Services Tax
? Measure P - City of Fairfield - Extending Sales Tax
? Measure Q - City of Fairfield - Appointive City Clerk
? Measure U - Dixon Unified School District - Bond Measure
? Measure V - City of Vacaville - City Sales Tax
? Measure X - City of Benicia - Limited Charter City Measure
? Measure Y - City of Benicia - Real Property Transfer Tax
? Measure Z - City of Benicia - Business License Tax

The text of all measures are available on the ROV Website at https://www.solanocounty.gov/elections and will also be published in newspapers throughout the county.

Later in August, the ROV anticipates sending the first notice to remind voters of their options for voting in the upcoming election.
