DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
Supervisor Vasquez requests that the Board of Supervisors approve the reappointment of Cindy Gill to the Silveyville Cemetery District Board of Trustees representing District 4 for a four-year term, commencing on January 4, 2021 and terminating on January 4, 2025.
SUMMARY:
Cindy Gill has served the Silveyville Cemetery District honorably since her term began, and therefore, Supervisor Vasquez wishes to reappoint her so she may continue to serve the appointment from the fourth supervisorial district as a trustee for the Silveyville Cemetery District.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The costs associated with preparing the agenda item are nominal and absorbed by the department’s FY2020/21 Preliminary Budget.
ALTERNATIVES:
The Board may choose not to reappoint Cindy Gill to the Silveyville Cemetery District Board of Trustees, however, this is not recommended, as Ms. Gill has served honorably and wishes to continue to serve in this capacity.
