DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
Supervisor Skip Thomson requests that the Board of Supervisors approve the appointment of Henry Clark Lane to serve on the Solano County Animal Care Advisory Commission, representing District 5, for a 4 year term to expire March 26, 2017.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Henry Clark Lane offers over 30 years of public sector experience and has formerly worked for the State Board of Equalization, Los Medanos Community Hospital and the City of Los Angeles. He possesses a Bachelors of Arts degree in Management from St. Mary's College and an Associate of Arts degree in General Education and Social Science from Los Angeles City College. Henry Clark Lane is dedicated to animal care and control issues. He is interested in using his strategic management abilities to strengthen the County's animal care initiatives and improve the operations of the Solano County Animal Shelter.
