SUMMARY/DISCUSSION

Mona Del Real began her career in Solano County on May 21, 1990 as an Eligibility Worker II Bilingual Aide with Health & Social Services under the Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) Program. In 1994, Ms. Del Real promoted to an Eligibility Worker III in the Staff Development unit where she trained new workers in all aspects of eligibility determination. In 1996, Ms. Del Real promoted again to become an Eligibility Supervisor where she managed and supported intake staff for the AFDC program.

Ms. Del Real was then assigned to supervise various other programs including: Cal-Learn, Self-Initiated Program, and the Pre-employment Readiness and Education Program (PREP).
