DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
Supervisor Skip Thomson requests that the Board of Supervisors approve the reappointments of Richard Hoar and Pat Negroni to serve on the Dixon Fire Protection District, representing District 5, for a term to expire March 1, 2021.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Richard Hoar, retired United States Air Force and former Solano County Corrections Officer, and Pat Negroni, retired Solano County Surveyor, have served the Solano County community for decades and would like to continue to serve on the Dixon Fire Protection District.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The costs associated with preparing the agenda item are nominal and included in the department’s FY2019/20 Adopted Budget.
ALTERNATIVES:
The Board could choose not to approve the re-appointments, but this is not recommended as Mr. Hoar and Mr. Negroni, long-time Solano County residents, are willing to contribute their efforts continuing service to those within the Dixon Fire Protection District.
