DEPARTMENTAL RECOMMENDATION:
The Department of General Services recommends the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve an agreement for $121,041 with AAA Concrete Construction of Suisun City for the Belden's Landing Fishing and Boat Safety Improvements Project; and
2. Approve an Appropriations Transfer Request of $141,145 from Resource Management Parks & Recreation (BU 7005) to the Accumulated Capital Outlay Fund (BU 1795) to fund the project (4/5 vote required); and
3. Authorize the County Administrator or designee to execute the agreement and any amendments within the approved project budget.
SUMMARY:
The Department of General Services is recommending that the Board of Supervisors approve an agreement with AAA Concrete Construction of Suisun City for $121,041 (Attachment A) as the lowest responsible bidder for the Belden's Landing Fishing and Boat Safety Improvements Project (Project).
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The total approved budget for the Project is $141,145, currently budgeted in Resource Management Parks & Recreation Budget Unit 7005. Project funding includes $93,487 from National Fish and Wildlife Foundation grant and $47,658 from the Resource Management Parks & Recreation operating budget. Staff is requesting the transfer of appropriations from BU 7005 to the Accumulated Capital Outlay fund (BU 1795) to fund the Project.
